Southwest Montana has been our home since 1990, and since landing in this spectacular place, our love of the outdoors has only grown. That's why in 2003 we started Rockin' HK, allowing us to share our passion for the land and horses with others.
Along this journey we have been blessed to share the experience with our three wonderful children, Scarlett, Wyatt, and Wilson. They have been able to spend memorable childhood summers in the back country of Yellowstone, and sharing that experience with other families has been a highlight of our profession.
Through it all, we would not have been able to have these incredible moments without our equine companions. Our amazing horses and mules have endured it all-- from fly spray to the belly by a two year old to wolves and bears to frolicking in the lush summer grass of Yellowstone. From our family to yours-- come enjoy all that Montana has to offer!
Kipp Saile
Kipp has been a guide and skilled packer in and out of Yellowstone since 1999, learning and practicing low-impact techniques handed down for generations. His strength and knack for packing mules along with his love for the Yellowstone back country is what makes him one of the other treasures Montana has to offer. During the colder months he enjoys the annual elk hunt, which he has been guiding since 2000 for his good friends at S & W Outfitters in the Madison River valley.

Heidi Saile
Heidi’s expertise in horse riding and care has served Rockin' HK well over the years. Since living in Montana, she has worked for many local ranches and has accumulated many hours on the trail, mastering the know how to take care of both horse and rider in the back country. Heidi loves to ride with beginners and children, showing them how wonderful and gentle horses can be, while never forgetting how strong and different their personalities are.
