Winter at the Chico Horse Barn also offers Back country Guides to take you through a bit of Yellowstone on either Cross Country Skis or Snowshoes. Or rent snowshoes here to do some exploring on your own. Our gift shop will be open from 10am-2pm Check out all of our winter options above.

It is important to note that every trip we do in Yellowstone National Park has to be done on horse or mule. We invite you to join us for Yellowstone horseback riding and fly fishing!
Fitness Requirements We reserve the right to restrict our trail riding guests to meet these requirements to secure the safety and comfort of both horse and rider. This does not mean we do not have activities for all horse enthusiasts. If you find that you do not meet these requirements, we offer carriage/wagon rides or hour long guided horse wellness. Contact us in Pray, Montana, to meet with us for a Yellowstone National Park adventure or a Chico Hot Springs activity. We are available for horseback riding trips and other options for travelers from around the world.
